In the fall of 2019, a field trial of two transgenic species was started in the Urseren valley as part of a small-scale pilot project. In the village center of Andermatt with the Delicate Collateral Benefit (Damnum inutilis) and in the hitherto taciturn Gorge of Schöllenen with the Evergreen Amourtistaion (Praemium sempervirens).
